A Commercial Assistant is wanted on a permanent basis by a global client of ours who is at the forefront of their industry and going through a real period of growth. In this role, the successful candidate will provide assistance to the trading team as and when required. They will maintain and develop business relationships with customers, suppliers and third-party providers ensuring the highest level of service is delivered.
This is a permanent opportunity that includes a base salary of between £24,000 - £26,000 dependent upon experience and qualifications plus bonuses and benefits.
Overview of the Commercial Assistant role:- To manage the daily workload pro-actively and prioritise accordingly to ensure the highest level of service is delivered to all business partners.
- Communicate daily with colleagues, customers, suppliers and third party providers to ensure all requests/requirements are handled in a timely manner and strong business relationships are maintained.
- To work closely with the trading team and assist in all aspects of the business where required, generating reports when required and managing and developing various spreadsheets to ensure customer/supplier accounts are kept up to date as required.
- Previous experience operating with a commercial mindset.
- Previous experience working in an administrative capacity.
- Experience working on their own accord as well as part of a wider team.
