We’re on the lookout for an experienced Infrastructure Support Specialist to join a dynamic software company based in Shoreham-by-Sea. Reporting to the Customer Support Manager, you’ll play a key role in maintaining and optimising our infrastructure operations. If you thrive in a Linux/Unix environment, have a knack for AWS and PostgreSQL, and enjoy solving complex technical puzzles.
As an Infrastructure Support Specialist, your key responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with the daily management of infrastructure operations
- Troubleshooting and resolving support cases (including server crashes and memory issues)
- Administrating Active Directory for user and group management
- Working closely with internal teams to maintain system stability and performance
- Providing internal support for software and hardware issues
Requirements:
- Experience with AWS systems
- Experience in Linux administration
- Experience managing PostgreSQL databases
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbally
- Organisational skills
