CMA Executive is delighted to be retained on a new opportunity for an accomplished and highly Commercial Senior Finance Business Partner to join an award-winning and market-leading Property organisation on the south coast. This long-established company is seeking to centralise and streamline much of its operations with a key focus on commercial gains.
A new Senior Finance Business Partner is expected to partner with key stakeholders to drive sound commercial business strategy.
What the Senior Finance Business Partner position will involve:
- Work closely with the MD and leadership teams of assigned business areas to ensure that critical commercial and broader business issues are actioned appropriately.
- Support the identification and realisation of the sales and margin opportunity by continually challenging current thinking through providing proactive, high-quality insight and analysis that enables the business to make informed decisions in relation to the operational delivery of the overall business strategy.
- Review and analyse new commercial opportunities and business streams, supported with insightful financial data and detailed decision support.
- Support the focus on performance management by monitoring and tracking of performance (financial and operational), explanations for variances and potential solutions to the business.
Suitable Candidate for the Senior Finance Business Partner:
- Commercial experience ideally within Property or Services/recurring revenue-based organisation.
- Branded sector sales and marketing exposure.
- Private equity experience.
- Qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ICAEW).
- This is a role suited to someone with extremely strong stakeholder management abilities, capable of challenging at senior level and illustrating corporate strategy within decision making.
- Proven leadership ability and capability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.
- Strong grasp of key business and industry drivers.
- Strong problem solving, decision-making and influencing skills – proven ability to build strong relationships with potentially challenging stakeholders.
- Strong commercial acumen and financial modelling skills.
- Good interpersonal skills.
