Mechanical Technical Officer

Niyaa People are working with a higher education institution in Birmingham who are looking for a Mechanical Technical Officer to join their team on a permanent basis.Benefits of the Mechanical Maintenance Contractor role includes:

• Salary of £36,130 – £41,671 per annum

Responsibilities of the Mechanical Technical Officer role:

• Liaising with contractors to ensure scheduling is efficient for all campus buildings
• Day to day oversight of mechanical contractors with accountability of budget, contractor delivery and quality control
• Day to day management of mechanical contractors to meet specific KPIs or targets from the company
• Monitoring of contractor's performance and ensuring accuracy in all records and reports written

Key skills needed for the Mechanical Technical Officer role include:

• Minimum 5 years' experience running and managing contractors
• Experience with gas/heating engineering, mechanical ventilation and TM44
• Knowledge of internal and domestic gas works
• HNC in Mechanical Engineering
• Background in either private or public sector
