My client is looking for a skilled and motivated Temporary Works Engineer to join their team in Maidstone. If you’re ready to take on varied engineering challenges, work across exciting construction projects, and help shape safe, innovative solutions, this could be the role for you.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Tackle a wide variety of temporary works projects, applying your engineering knowledge to real-world challenges.
- Design and produce clear, client-friendly technical drawings and design documents.
- Carry out planning, design, and delivery of temporary works using cutting-edge software and tools.
- Conduct detailed site visits and surveys to devise innovative, safety-focused solutions.
- Provide expert technical guidance to colleagues while managing multiple projects independently under tight deadlines.
- Continue developing your skills, keeping up to date with industry advancements and best practices.
- Promote health and safety at every stage, in line with CDM Regulations 2015.

What We’re Looking For:
Essential:
- A degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- Ideally working towards Chartered status (ICE or IStructE).
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in 2D AutoCAD.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, plans, and general arrangements.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Advanced IT skills, including engineering software.
