I have been instructed on a Treasury Manager position with a focus on debt management.
The main responsibilities of the role are:
- Depending on the timing of financial close, be involved with the negotiation and finalisation of the debt terms and covenant package included within new financing arrangements.
- Work with the legal team and advisors on delivery of CPs to financial close within the debt package.
- Work with business stakeholders to educate at all levels on financing arrangements.
- Work with business stakeholders to identify potential points of risk in compliance with debt covenants.
- Act as a leading voice across the business to embed financial good practice and debt compliance procedures.
- Help identify any potential future debt compliance issues and flag to Treasury Director and senior management within the business, supporting the business on finding suitable resolutions of potential issues.
- Establish an assurance process to verify covenant compliance and confirm representations needed for debt drawdowns and compliance certificates.
- Work with finance and accounting teams to understand and monitor financial covenants.
- Lead the debt compliance certificate process, including inputs, assurance and sign off.
- With the Deputy Treasurer, lead on delivering information requirements and ongoing management of credit rating and agency requirements.
- Support operational teams in designing and embedding processes for drawdown for equity and debt under the two main facility documents.
- Provide reports to Board and senior management on ongoing debt compliance position.
- Work with other members of the Treasury and finance teams in providing reporting required by Shareholders.
- Support ongoing relationship management with lending banks including information provision in accordance with terms of the debt.
- Support investor relations work for potential future raising of equity and debt.
