About the Company

Our client is a well-established hedge fund with ex-Deutsche Bank partners managing £600M+ in assets worldwide. With significant capital to deploy in the UK market, they are actively expanding their property portfolio and seeking a Senior Project Manager to oversee their growing real estate operations.
Owning one large office in London, which is currently undergoing major refurbishment, the client is expecting to increase this significantly in future, so the candidate will need to be adaptable and know how to assess new properties for what is needed- either soft maintenance, or major refurbishments.

The Role
This is a unique position combining traditional project management with property management oversight and investment support. The successful candidate will work closely with senior leadership in a dynamic environment where strategic decisions are driven by market opportunities and profit optimization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee major refurbishment and fit-out projects through external PM/QS consultancies
• Manage building upgrades including lifts, doors, and EPC compliance improvements
• Coordinate property maintenance activities through appointed property management companies
• Support the investment team with construction cost analysis and feasibility assessments
• Assist with due diligence on potential property acquisitions (typically 3-4 live opportunities)
• Liaise with various stakeholders including contractors, consultants, and regulatory bodies

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience as a Project Manager, ideally with commercial property exposure
• Strong understanding of construction costs and building refurbishment processes
• Experience working with external consultancies and managing multiple stakeholders
• Knowledge of EPC regulations and compliance requirements
• Ability to support investment decisions with practical construction insight
• Excellent communication and coordination skills
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, profit-driven environment
