You will report to the VP of Finance whilst working closely with key senior members of the Picturehouse team and managing your own team of 3 to deliver the end-to-end statutory accounting process to ensure a smooth partnership with our auditors.
This is the ideal role for someone who would relish owning the statutory accounting process for a vibrant customer-focused business and supporting other strategic projects.
What will you be doing?
- You will be responsible for the end-to-end ‘statutory accounting’ process, including managing and reviewing financial statements in preparation of audits for PH and subsidiaries; ensuring that IFRS standards are followed.
- You will be managing a small team of 3 which consists of Financial Accountants and an Assistant, providing any support when needed.
- You will cover general finance responsibilities which include providing month-end reporting to the Group & Board, reviewing balance sheets, and implementing commercial finance support to wider departments.
- You will support the wider Finance team by providing input for strategic projects.
About you
- You have 3-4 years of PQE; either the ACA (ICAEW), ACCA, or CIMA is suitable. Having gained strong experience with statutory accounting and working closely with external auditors.
- You enjoy working closely with senior stakeholders from a wide range of business areas, getting closer to the core business.
- You pride yourself on your ability to nurture relationships whether that is with the small team of 3 that you’ll be managing, key people across the business, or external providers.
