Our client, a precision engineering company, seek to appoint an experienced CNC Turner to programme set and operate a number of machines in their factory. The appointed CNC Turner will have experience in programming Fanuc / XYZ controls. On offer is a competitive salary with a great business with a growing order book and exciting product. This is a days based role with overtime available for those that would like it. CNC Turner – Role and Responsibilities – Turning / Machining / Fanuc / XYZ / Precision Engineering* Programming, setting and operating precision engineering machinery* Programming, setting and operating with Fanuc / XYZ controls* Overcome any tooling and set up problems encountered when machining component* Adhere to Machine / Department 5S and support Quality / Business Improvement initiativesCNC Turner – Skills and Abilities – Turning / Machining / Fanuc / XYZ / Precision Engineering* Formal qualification in machining, with CNC bias, ideally apprentice trained* Ability to program preferred, with experience of Fanuc / XYZ controls* Ability to use associated measuring equipment, mics, verniers etc* Confident with a positive and friendly attitude* Ability to work under pressure and to deadlinesMachining, CNC, Turner, Fanuc, Precision Engineering, XYZThis is an excellent role offering a generous rate for the right candidate.
