Haematology Pharmacist (Maternity Cover) based in Warrington.

Location: Warrington

Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:45 - 17:00

Rate: Β£35.00 per hour

Contract: Minimum 3 months

Are you an experienced clinical pharmacist with a passion for haematology? Trident healthcare are seeking a dedicated Haematology Pharmacist to provide maternity cover for the Lead Pharmacist - Haematology at a respected NHS Trust in Warrington.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver a high-quality clinical pharmacy service to haematology patients.
  • Clinically verify haematology prescriptions to ensure safe and effective treatment.
  • Develop and implement new chemotherapy protocols using the Trust’s electronic chemotherapy prescribing system.
  • Provide ward-based clinical pharmacy cover.
  • Contribute to governance and quality improvement initiatives within the haematology specialty.
Requirements:
  • GPhC-registered pharmacist with relevant clinical experience in haematology or oncology.
  • Strong knowledge of chemotherapy protocols and electronic prescribing systems.
  • Excellent communication and multidisciplinary team collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage a varied workload.
