As part of a mission to deliver a world-class wealth platform, they are hiring a Platform Support Engineer to bolster internal operations and enhance infrastructure reliability across their growing team.
Sitting within a technically diverse and highly collaborative Platform Team, you will play a key role in supporting end-users, maintaining core systems (AWS, Google Workspace, MDM), and driving hands-on infrastructure projects from start to finish. The role blends operations, project ownership, and platform optimisation in a modern, Mac-first, cloud-native environment.
Key Responsibilities- Manage internal support tickets via Jira and provide high-quality end-user support
- Administer Google Workspace and support Mac, Windows, and Linux devices using MDM tools
- Support operational changes and handovers from Platform Engineering
- Own technical projects end-to-end, from scoping through to delivery
- Assist with infrastructure support and occasional patching of office systems
- Solid experience with Linux system administration and command-line navigation
- Proficient with Google Workspace configuration and support
- Strong understanding of basic networking and connectivity troubleshooting
- Experience working with ticketing systems like Jira and documentation tools like Confluence
- Comfortable owning and delivering infrastructure and platform-focused projects
- Excellent communication skills and a user-first mindset
- Experience with Docker or containerisation workflows
- Exposure to managing larger or more complex Linux environments
- Familiarity with network administration or office infrastructure management
