Are you an experienced Estimator with a strong background in the construction industry? Our client, a well-established and growing business, is seeking a skilled Estimator to join their team in Richmond and take ownership of compiling accurate and competitive cost estimates for structural steelwork and sub-contract works.
Key Responsibilities
- Compile detailed and accurate cost estimates for structural steel and other sub-contract works
- Assess material, labour, and equipment needs; analyse supplier and sub-contractor quotations
- Enter data and maintain records using specialist estimating software
- Ensure all estimates and tenders are commercially viable and profitable
- Liaise with clients, consultants, quantity surveyors, and other stakeholders
- Organise and manage tender enquiries, documents, and feedback
- Collaborate closely with other departments to ensure smooth delivery of technical services
