I am looking for a skilled Senior Certification Engineer to join an established organisation. This role includes technical evaluation, project management, mentoring, and supporting business development initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define scope of certification projects and evaluate products against EN/IEC 60079 Series standards.
- Estimate project costs and prepare customer quotations.
- Plan and manage certification projects, ensuring delivery on time and within budget.
- Conduct or coordinate product testing and prepare compliance documentation.
- Issue certification reports and certificates per scheme procedures.
- Mentor and train junior engineers; conduct technical reviews.
- Represent the company at technical committees, industry events and exhibitions.
- Support lab equipment setup and other technical tasks as needed.
Experience and Qualifications Required:
- Degree in Engineering or related field.
- Strong experience in product certification and testing (e.g., ATEX, IECEx).
- Experience mentoring and reviewing technical work.
