You will work on the front line of strategic execution and at the centre of product delivery within a FTSE10 Company and one of the top 3 TV advertisers in the UK - with results that consistently outperform our competitors. Our brands are Number 1 or Number 2 brands in all their primary markets and we work with key retail players like Tesco, Boots, Asda and Sainsbury (amongst many others!). You will be responsible for implementing category growth strategies, through 4P tactical or strategic levers, which grow categories and ultimately drive sales and profit for Reckitt.
Your responsibilities:
- Execute best in class category management, to ensure Reckitt is delivering against retailer initiatives in line with Reckitt desires.
- Understand relevant Category Growth Drivers within the retailer, with quantifiable £RSV opportunity, and how 4P tactics will deliver growth.
- Build partnerships with key stakeholders, internally, considering touch points across various functions.
- Act without bias, but be commercially aware of decisions, communicating with tact and diplomacy at all times.
- Be involved in the range review process end to end.
- Drive Reckitt distribution, share of shelf and quality of placement via optimised range and merchandising.
- Translate & analyse data to recommend in-store actions aimed at strengthening the category.
- Performance Measures; advantage Group engagement ranking, scorecard achievement via measuring Customer, Shopper, Consumer, Retailer & Reckitt metrics, listed distribution tracker, leadership and engagement.
The experience we're looking for:
- Experience of developing and managing customer relationships.
- Confident & capable of communicating with key internal stakeholders.
- Passion for achievement; integrity and drive with a strong desire to make things happen.
- Links data to recommendations succinctly.
- Previous FMCG experience.
- Degree calibre.
- Data experienced; Nielsen, Space Planning, IRI, Kantar, or similar.
- Intermediate usage of Excel & PowerPoint.
