Physical Therapist Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough physical therapy evaluations to assess residents’ functional abilities
- Design and implement customized therapy plans to restore mobility, strength, and independence
- Deliver effective, evidence-based physical therapy treatments
- Educate residents, families, and staff on mobility, safety, and fall prevention
- Recommend and train in the use of mobility and assistive devices
- Collaborate closely with occupational therapists, speech therapists, nursing staff, and others to ensure comprehensive care
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation that reflects quality physical therapy care
Qualifications
- Licensed Physical Therapist in the state of Wisconsin (or eligible)
- Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
- A commitment to patient-centered care and quality outcomes
- Previous experience in geriatric or senior care settings preferred, but not required
