Role Summary and Impact

We are searching for a talented and enthusiastic individual to join our OpenDoor team as a Programmatic Director. This is a full-time position based in London. This role plays a crucial part in supporting WPP's mission to deliver consistency, excellence, and best-in-class service for Amazon across its diverse businesses, including XCM, Prime Video, and RMI.

Campaign Management

  • Build effective media plans to organize campaign actions and goals.
  • Oversee and ensure best-in-class campaign activation across relevant accounts, ensuring campaigns operate at the highest standards and deliver quality output for clients.
  • Proactively supervise campaign activation and optimization, supporting global hubs, executives, and managers.
  • Create templates and proven methodologies for optimization tactics and logs.

Client and Partner Management

  • Build strong, effective relationships with clients, maintaining trust and respect.
  • Understand media and technology developments influencing clients’ businesses.
  • Drive revenue growth by spotting new optimization opportunities, services, or products, and delivering results.
  • Develop relationships with media owners and service providers to select appropriate suppliers.
  • Understand products and solutions developed within the group relevant for clients.

People Management

  • Motivate and train individuals; be a key stakeholder in junior staff development.
  • Support and nurture junior and global hub employees, ensuring their training and development needs are met.
  • Set clear tasks and objectives with the Programmatic Associate Director, including deliverables and timelines.
  • Highlight teamwork and client initiatives; demonstrate programmatic best practices and contribute to PR and communications.

Operational Excellence

  • Use tools effectively to drive accountability, operational efficiencies, and insights.
  • Ensure financial accuracy, including planning, buying, and reconciliation of spends, client terms, and fees.
  • Maintain standards throughout the campaign lifecycle.
  • Seek opportunities to develop knowledge of the programmatic landscape, tech platforms, vendors, and suppliers.
