Duties & Responsibilities:
- Support in the efficient and effective management of the estate gardens, plants and trees.
- General upkeep of the estate gardens and grounds.
- Hedge cutting and pruning.
- Lawn care, including mowing and strimming.
- Weeding, mulching, and border maintenance.
- Planting and seasonal plant care.
- Leaf blowing and garden tidying.
- Ensure that all equipment is stored securely and kept in good working order.
- Supporting the Head Gardener with other tasks as required.
Skills, Experience & Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years' practical gardening experience in a professional or estate setting.
- At least one horticultural qualification (e.g. RHS Level 2 or equivalent).
- Confident using a range of horticultural machinery and tools.
- Ability to work independently with a good eye for detail.
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather.
