Veritas Education is a leading education recruitment agency dedicated to supporting schools in achieving their full potential. We are currently looking for a temporary Attendance Officer to join our team and assist schools in maintaining excellent attendance records and supporting student welfare.
As an Attendance Officer, you will be responsible for:
- Monitoring and managing student attendance daily
- Identifying patterns of poor attendance and working closely with students, parents, and staff to improve overall attendance rates
- Reporting attendance data accurately and promptly to the relevant school leaders
- Following up on absenteeism and ensuring appropriate documentation and actions are in place
- Supporting the development and implementation of attendance improvement strategies
- Providing administrative support related to attendance records and issues
Key Requirements:
- Previous experience in an administrative or attendance-related role (preferably in an educational setting)
- Strong communication skills and the ability to liaise effectively with students, parents, and staff
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office or other relevant software
- A proactive and empathetic approach to supporting students and resolving attendance issues
