We're working with a long-established precision engineering business that is looking to bring a skilled Manual Miller & Turner into their growing team. Based primarily in Hemel Hempstead, you will also be required to work from their Aylesbury site when needed – flexibility is key.
The Role:
- Operating manual milling machines and lathes
- Producing precision-engineered components to technical drawings
- Working with a range of materials including mild steel, stainless, and aluminium
- Maintaining high standards of quality and safety throughout the machining process
- Occasionally assisting with other workshop duties as required
Requirements:
- Proven experience with manual milling and turning
- Confident in reading and interpreting technical drawings
- Ability to work independently and to tight tolerances
- Willingness to travel between Hemel Hempstead and Aylesbury
- Reliable, punctual, and with a strong work ethic
- A driving licence and own transport would be advantageous due to the split-site nature of the role.
