The predicted salary is between 48000 - 72000 £ per year.

Salary: Circa £60,000 depending on experience
What you’ll be doing:
- Responsible for driving a change management suite of projects and asset care tasks by leading and managing MEICA construction, engineering, and infrastructure projects
- Liaise and co-ordinate multiple site and external stakeholders to capture project scope including requirements capture, design, implementation, delivery, commissioning and handover
- Responsible for all project controls data for all commercial and financial aspects of projects throughout the project lifecycle
- Effectively deliver projects in line with BAE policies, procedures and statutory requirements to ensure a compliant and fit for purpose solution
- Maintain and manage a safety focused environment and culture aligned to the high-risk aspects of the projects undertaken
- To manage and control Principal Contractors site activities under Construction (Design & Management) Regulations 2015
Your skills and experiences:
- Experience leading/managing Major Projects of significant complexity and financial scale within a live manufacturing, production or construction environment
- This role would lend itself to someone with a mechanical or electrical bias with HVAC or LEV experience a distinct advantage
- Demonstrable team leadership, stakeholder management and effective communication at all levels internally and externally
- Minimum of a HNC Qualification in Engineering/Construction, with an established Project Management skillset (e.g. development of Plans, Financial forecasting, Business Cases, Risk Management, Presentation packs, LCM material)
- Recognised Project Management qualification (e.g. Prince2 or APMQ)

The Site Facilities Major Projects Team: Working for the Site and facilities directorate this is an exciting opportunity to join the LEV Programme at Barrow-in-Furness. The programme involves upgrading LEV systems to modern standards, improving the work environment for current and future teams. You’ll be joining a developing team where you’ll expand your skillset and gain exposure across the wider business giving the opportunity for professional growth within the function and the opportunity to work across various functions.
