The Junior AI Analyst provides vital analytical support to both the AI Operations Manager and Applied AI Consultant. This role serves as the analytical backbone for AI initiatives, gathering and analysing data, conducting research, preparing reports, presentations and assisting with implementation and monitoring of AI solutions. A critical responsibility includes maintaining compliance documentation, particularly AI Use Case and AI Product Inventories, while applying process improvement tools to enhance efficiency. This role addresses defined analytical problems, data preparation challenges, documentation organisation needs, basic process analysis tasks, and engages in supervised problem-solving activities.
Core Responsibilities
- Support strategic AI initiatives and implementation work across the organisation
- Maintain compliance documentation, including AI Use Case and AI Product Inventories
- Assist with process improvement activities using basic DMAIC methodology
- Collect, clean, and analyse data to support AI project decision-making
- Prepare reports and visualisations to communicate findings to stakeholders
- Conduct research on AI trends, technologies, and best practices
- Monitor performance of implemented AI solutions and identify improvement opportunities
- Provide general analytical support to the AI team
- Handle administrative and project support tasks as needed
- Assist with documentation of AI processes and procedures
Required expertise
- Bachelor's degree in Law, Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or related field
- Proficiency with data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI)
- Data visualisation skills and experience creating clear, informative reports
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams
Preferred expertise
- Basic programming knowledge (Python preferred)
- Familiarity with SQL and database concepts
- Basic understanding of statistical methods and their application
- Knowledge of basic DMAIC methodology
- Knowledge of AI ethics and responsible AI principles
- Familiarity with project management methodologies

- Familiarity with compliance requirements in technology implementation
- Basic process mapping, Pareto analysis for prioritisation, 5S for documentation organisation, data collection for DMAIC projects, and basic process improvement techniques.
