Location: Salisbury, Wiltshire
Salary: £28,168 - £39,244 per annum (dependant on skills, qualifications, and experience)
Job Type: Permanent, Full Time 37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year

The Role: Are you passionate about shaping the future of early childhood education? Do you thrive on inspiring the next generation of educators? If so, we have the perfect opportunity for you to join our dynamic team as an Early Years Lecturer at Wiltshire College & University Centre. As a Lecturer in Early Years, you will play a key role in developing and inspiring students studying early childhood education at levels 1-3. You will have the opportunity to deliver engaging lectures, facilitate practical learning experiences, and mentor students on placement visits. Your work will have a lasting impact on the next generation of early years professionals, helping them to become well-rounded, confident, and capable educators.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver exceptional teaching and assessment across our Early Years programmes.
- Develop and implement engaging schemes of work, lesson plans, and assessment strategies.
- Support the holistic development of students by addressing their pastoral needs and contributing to enrichment activities.
- Ensure that teaching resources and practices are aligned with best practice and drive student success.
- Teach on a range of programmes, including Higher Education courses and Health T Levels.
You: The ideal candidate will:
- Hold a relevant degree in Early Years or a related field.
- Have proven experience teaching BTEC, A-Level, or Higher Education Early Years qualifications.
- A strong track record of driving student success and progression.
- A teaching qualification (or a willingness to work towards one).
- A dynamic and engaging teaching style that motivates and inspires students.
