About Our Client

Our client's mission is to support growth and innovation in the circular economy. It seeks to identify businesses operating in Europe that require between €15-40m of equity investment. It has an integrated approach to measuring and reporting ESG factors and uses this information to support investee company growth.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Investment Associate to join the current team and contribute to the execution of pipeline investments, in the investment management of portfolio companies and in portfolio reporting across the UK, Benelux, DACH, Spain, and Scandinavia. This individual will play a key role in the team, adding to capabilities across Europe where the fund already has a successful track record.

What the job involves:

  • Support the evaluation and execution of new investment opportunities including the preparation of investment committee papers, the review and assessment of due diligence reports and the review of legal documentation.
  • Support the partners in investment and portfolio management.
  • Assist the partners in the regular portfolio reporting process.

Who we are looking for:

  • European language skills or a cultural understanding across one or more NW European markets, principally Dutch, German or Scandinavian.
  • Senior analyst/associate level private equity experience, working on pan-European transactions.
  • Strong, technical financial modelling skills.
  • Personable and comfortable working as part of a small, dedicated and highly motivated team and a friendly team player, willing to assist in all areas of office life.
  • A demonstrable interest in the circular economy.
