Category Strategy & Insights

We co-create & implement omnichannel plans that unlock profitable & sustainable category growth, benefiting shoppers, our customers, Unilever, and the planet. We are Category and Shopper focused experts with deep category knowledge, across all channels. We want to make Unilever Homecare the #1 partner of choice for our customers. We collaborate closely with Global Marketing, Insights, Research & Development, our Category Strategy & Planning / Category Management counterparts in the Business Units & countries and agencies to set the objective Business Group Customer Category Growth Strategy and bring in the shopper, customer, and channel voice into innovation and non-innovation led activities. To achieve this, we are looking for a highly motivated and driven member to join our team. This role has a direct report.

Responsibilities

  • Industry Leading Customer Category Growth Strategies: the golden thread from a tight set of insights, all the way through to what the shopper sees. Develop Global Customer Category Growth Strategies. Partner Business unit and top 10 countries to localise.
  • Landing Big Bets With Maximum Impact: Deliver triple win compelling innovation trade stories for global big bets. Deliver ammunition fit for customers and channels, right first time. Deploy centralized POSM material to minimize waste & maximise impact.
  • Homecare Category Management & Shopper Marketing Repeatable Models: Co-create current & future shelf repeatable models. Co-create brand experience repeatable models to activate Category Value Drivers.
  • Build Capability: Run quarterly Homecare Community of Practice to share best practices.

All About You

Relevant Experiences: Category Growth Management, Insight especially Shopper Insight in Country. Prior experience in a Customer Business Development role in country.
