Join to apply for the Indirect Sourcing Lead role at The Body Shop. The Body Shop is committed to generating positive economic, social and environmental impact. We are recruiting an experienced Indirect Senior Buyer to work in our Sourcing Team based at our global HQ in Brighton.
The successful candidate will manage spend across various Indirect spend categories focusing on Marketing services, driving innovation and efficiencies as well as cost savings. You will shape and deploy appropriate sourcing solutions within both Ethical and Internal Control guidelines with alignment to procurement best practices to deliver cost savings and value add for TBSI. Manage the relationship between key suppliers to include supplier relationship management, managing contracts, supplier performance and ethical frameworks for supplier management.
Your role in a nutshell:
- Partner the business to shape and execute strategic sourcing initiatives that align with growth plans.
- Strategic Sourcing & Category Management, category Strategy development and Implementation, End-to-end RFPs, contract negotiation, driving efficiencies as well as cost savings.
- Project identification, management, and Deployment with Stakeholders.
- Spend Analysis.
- Cost & Payment terms Negotiation.
- Stakeholder mapping and engagement.
- Supplier Mapping and Review.
- Development of the supplier base to improve defined performance.
- Deliver Cost Savings, Innovation and Efficiency in relevant spend areas.
- Develop and agree yearly savings budget and pipeline activity for relevant spend areas.
- Regular reporting on performance to procurement and business stakeholders.
- Manage spend ensuring all procurement and ethical protocols are documented and followed with brand and group internal control requirements.
- Supplier Management & Development to include: Supplier Reviews and Supplier Scorecard for designated suppliers.
- New Vendor approval process.
- Manage Supplier Risk.
- Supplier Selection through tenders and New Vendor Approval Process.
What We Look For:
- Strong expertise in Strategic Indirect Sourcing in a FMCG environment.
- Experience of Indirect sourcing processes and contract management.
- Experience of managing Creative, Digital and Media spend.
- Knowledge of the Health and Beauty industry (desirable).
- Demonstrates dynamic track record within their current organisation.
- Knowledge of Retail operations (desirable).
- Excellent interpersonal skills to include Strong cultural awareness with the ability to develop and maintain strong effective relationships.
- Strong Stakeholder Management, able to influence and engage all levels of the organisation.
- Demonstrably high level of personal integrity and performance ethic.
