We are working on behalf of a highly collaborative hedge fund with a global presence. The fund has a strong track record of performance and has committed significant resources to further expanding their established front-office engineering team. At this moment, the fund is looking to hire a couple of C# engineers (4-7 years’ experience) to support the expansion of this highly regarded team and be central to the shaping of a systematic business expansion.
In this role, the successful applicant(s) will be supporting the development and maintenance of performative and responsive C# applications that enable the front office business to operate and function. You will be working closely with key business stakeholders throughout the business across a range of novel and pre-existing projects; strategic and BAU. This will be a full SDLC mandate and it will operate across the stack. You will sit closely to the fixed income and macro business. The firm is a fine blend of discretionary and growing systematic capabilities, and you will be engaged predominantly in the latter.
The current squad is built on the foundations of high-calibre peers (both academically and professionally). Therefore, they are looking for those who share strong academic credentials and experience representing highly regarded financial institutions. This is a good opportunity to work for a thoroughly successful fund that has a dynamic, progressive culture. They are very outspoken about their commitment to continuous personal and professional investment in their representatives and nurturing a culture of knowledge discovery.
Requirements:- Preferably 4-7 years’ commercial experience on the sell- or buy-side.
- Strong programming skills in C#.
- C++ experience would also be desirable but not a pre-requisite.
- Comprehensive exposure to the .NET ecosystem, in particular desktop application frameworks (WPF, WinForms, Blazor).
- Experience within the field of systematic trading would be highly regarded.
- Experience within fixed income (rates) products.
- Minimum Master’s degree in a relevant scientific or programmatic field, from a leading university/course.
- Strong communication skills to effectively and efficiently collaborate with key stakeholders.
- Capacity to work within a highly time-sensitive environment.
