Overview: We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Care Home Manager to lead a beautifully renovated residential and dementia care facility in Southampton. This role is ideal for a current Care Home Manager or an experienced Deputy Manager ready to step up into a Care Home Manager position.

As Care Home Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of home operations, ensuring the highest standards of person-centered care, and maintaining full compliance with CQC regulations. You’ll join a supportive leadership team committed to excellence in care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the care home as the registered Care Home Manager, ensuring safe, effective, and high-quality care.
  • Ensure the home maintains or exceeds its current GOOD CQC rating.
  • Promote a positive environment where staff and residents thrive.
  • Manage rotas, staffing levels, and daily operations.
  • Carry out supervisions, appraisals, and team development.
  • Support recruitment and implement effective onboarding.
  • Drive continual improvement through audits, feedback, and innovation.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for families, professionals, and CQC.

Skills and Experience Required:

  • Previous experience as a Care Home Manager or Deputy looking to move into a Care Home Manager role.
