Chief Officer

As Chief Officer on board a self-propelled cutter suction dredger, you are the captain’s right hand. You ensure smooth operations on board—from safety and navigation to crew coordination and administrative duties. But this role goes beyond supervision. You’ll be actively involved in the day-to-day operations of a vessel that runs 24/7. This includes coordinating dredging activities, monitoring procedures, and ensuring all certifications and reports are up to date. You serve as a key link between the bridge, the technical department, and the dredging team. What makes this role unique is not just your experience, but your valid French Endorsement and knowledge of French maritime law.
