The Role: White Goods Gas Appliance Engineer As a Domestic Appliance Engineer at Pacifica, you will be part of a dedicated team of highly skilled engineers. You will diagnose and repair white goods appliances such as washing machines, dishwashers, tumble dryers, refrigeration, and gas cookers, providing high-quality repairs in customers\’ homes. Key Responsibilities: Diagnose and repair gas cooking appliances (CCN1 and CKR1 certification required) Service and repair at least 4 of the following: washing machines, tumble dryers, dishwashers, refrigerators, and cookers Complete jobs efficiently with pre-planned routes and in-time parts delivery Ensure first-time fixes and deliver excellent customer service Work independently and as part of a collaborative team to meet service goals Key Requirements You must have: 2+ years of experience in white goods repair (field-based) A valid ACS Certificate of Competency with minimum competencies of CCN1 and CKR1 certificates (LAU1 and LPG conversion are a plus) Up to date working knowledge in fault diagnosis and repair of Gas cooking appliances and at least 4 of the following; washing machines, tumble dryers, dishwashers, electric cookers and refrigeration Full UK Manual Driving Licence with no more than 6 points Strong communication and customer service skills Ability to work independently and follow established processes What We Offer: Salary: £39,000 – £43,000 basic (depending on skillset & experience) *(including £7,000 London weighting for engineers residing within the inner M25 area) Uncapped Bonus Scheme (OTE up to £50,000) Sign-On Bonus Full-time, Monday to Friday (8-hour day, typically 9 am – 5 pm) Company Van (including air-con, Apple CarPlay, and fuel card) Pre-Planned Routes and Drive Time Included In-Time Daily Parts Delivery to local collection points 33 days holiday including bank holidays Private Van Use (optional, subject to HMRC tax rules) Pension Scheme and Death in Service Benefit (3x salary) Access to City & Guilds Assured Training to upskill your existing appliance skillset No Sales Targets for consumables Free Multi-Appliance Protection (MAP) for your own home appliances Career Progression with specialist manufacturer training Excellent work-life balance Why Work with Pacifica?
