This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced, dynamic factory environment, where innovation and teamwork drive success. Working 4 on 4 off days & nights Salary £46,000 to £54,000 inclusive of shift allowance. What You Will Do Lead your team during breakdowns, applying your skills and experience to resolve issues efficiently. Carry out preventative maintenance and take corrective action to ensure machinery operates at its best. Respond quickly to breakdowns across multiple factory areas, identifying root causes and suggesting improvements. Communicate effectively with the Engineering Shift Manager and operations team to minimise disruptions. Maintain high standards of hygiene and safety while following good engineering practices. Use the CMMS system for spare parts management and job logging to ensure smooth operations. What You Will Bring Advanced Engineering Apprenticeship in mechanical or electrical disciplines (BTEC & NVQ L3, HNC, HND). Proven engineering experience, ideally within food manufacturing or a similar fast-moving environment. Strong mechanical fitting skills and the ability to fault-find on process machinery. A self-motivated, proactive attitude with excellent problem-solving abilities. A passion for continuous improvement and the ability to work effectively as part of a team. This role is vital to the company\’s success, ensuring that production runs smoothly and efficiently while maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality.
