Our client is a highly successful vehicle repair centre in Rochdale who are accredited to BS 10125. On their behalf we are recruiting for an experienced Vehicle Damage Assessor / Estimator (VDA) to join their expanding operations.
Key responsibilities include:
- Inspecting damage on vehicles to assess what work would be required.
- Creating accurate repair assessments in line with current repair methodology.
- Providing time scales and costings for any work completed.
- Providing estimates for repair ensuring they are fair and cost effective.
- Inputting workflow and liaising with customers and insurance companies in a professional manner.
- Reviewing work progress and identifying issues.
Skills & Experience required:
- Current City and Guilds or IMI VDA Certificate.
- Experience in using Audatex.
- Ideally experience with GT Motive.
- Experience of working on cars and light commercial vehicles.
- A good communicator with an awareness of customer service ethics and expectations.
Working hours are 42.5 per week, Monday to Friday.
