Working in their R&D Analytical Services department this role will be responsible for providing a wide range of analytical testing services to various internal clients. Position: Technical Scientist Location: United Kingdom Salary & Benefits The Role Day to day delivery of the Analytical Surveillance Programme. Providing expert analytical and technical advice to support business projects. Ensuring the maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment. Providing analytical support to all current markets. Maintaining laboratory SOPs, manuals and product analytical database. Requirements To be qualified to degree level or equivalent in an Analytical Chemistry or Food Science discipline. Working knowledge of organic, physical and analytical chemistry. A professional approach and good interpersonal skills. Working knowledge of analytical measurements including safety procedures, data recording and calibration of equipment. Practical analytical, R&D and technical experience within the food industry. A pro-active, organised, time and detail conscious approach is essential. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. A thirst for knowledge. A great deal of energy and enthusiasm.
