We are recruiting for Health Physics Surveyors to join a major project near Newbury. Responsibilities include: Supporting the Health Physics Manager and RPA in radiological oversight and control of assigned buildings. Assisting with decommissioning activities, including entries into areas with RPE. Performing Health Physics Surveys (radiation and contamination) and completing reports. Utilizing air sampling equipment and ensuring its functionality. Providing Health Physics coverage of operations as directed. Ensuring Health Physics Clearance of items removed from controlled areas. Maintaining stock of Respiratory Protective Equipment and Personal Protection Equipment. Performing contamination-controlled area duties, including laundry organization. Instructing trainee surveyors and providing radiological coaching. Performing other related duties as assigned. Required skills and knowledge include: City and Guilds Level 1 radiological protection certification. Minimum 3 years of surveying experience, ideally with air-fed suit operations. Proven knowledge of Radiological Protection, Decommissioning, and radioactive waste management. Flexibility and adaptability to changing environments. IOSH Managing Safely certification desirable.
