NES Fircroft on behalf of leading Oil & Gas operator, is hiring experienced Electrical Technicians to join their offshore teams in the UK North Sea. This is a great opportunity to work with a major operator on a long-term contract. Contract Details:Duration: Initial 12-month contract with high potential for extensionRotation: 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off, 12-hour shiftsMobilisation Base: NorwichDay Rate: PAYEKey Responsibilities Carry out maintenance on all Electrical equipment to the relevant Preventative Maintenance Routines (PMR’s) in MaximoCarry out EX maintenance on all EX Electrical equipmentTake part in weekly planning meetings to help form the plan for the next shiftAttend and contribute to the daily morning and evening wash up meetingsRaise any necessary Work Control Certificates (WCC’s) for non-routine tasks, including level 2 WCC’sRaise any necessary Isolation Control Certificates (ICC’s) for both electrical tasks and tasks for other trades that require an isolationProduce switching procedures for any High Voltage (HV) switchingCarry out switching including isolations and de-isolations of low and high voltage electrical equipmentRespond to breakdowns as requiredLiaise with Terminal Electrical Engineer to resolve more complex issuesRespond to requests for ICC’s to be isolated or de-isolated Qualifications & Experience Required:Valid BOSIET, MIST, and Offshore Medical with no restrictions.Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the oil and gas industry (onshore/offshore), including a time-served trade apprenticeship.Compex CertificationApply Now!
