Abbey House provides supported living accommodation for older persons, offering support and care for up to 12 Housing with Care tenants. It is located in the city centre of Derry~Londonderry. Abbey provides 24-hour staff support services, 365 days a year.
Qualifications and experience required:
- QCF/NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care or equivalent
- 6 months experience in a formal care/support role working with vulnerable adults, or
- 2 yearsβ experience in a formal care/support role with previous experience working with vulnerable adults.
Registration requirements:
Must be currently registered with NISCC, or if new to the sector, must achieve registration within 6 months.
Additional requirements:
Willingness to work towards completion of QCF Level 2 Health & Social Care.
