The role: The Transformation Programme Finance Lead plays a key role in effective delivery across the programme. The Transformation Programme Finance Lead is responsible for managing agreed Transformation budgets as per the Business Case and defining & embedding budgetary control processes in line with the Societies overall Change budget processes. The role will work with the Finance Business Partner, Transformation Leadership and the Change Management Office Finance Lead to ensure Programme Directors and Senior Leadership can make informed decisions in relation to programme budget spend. Responsibilities: – Transformation Budget and Business Case Costs – Governance – Own, manage and develop the programme Reporting – Leading Financial Process Key relationships: Transformation Team Senior Finance Business Partner Head of Strategy Our Ideal Candidate: Experience in overseeing multimillion-pound business cases and programmes spanning multiple years. Previous experience in a similar role within a Change and Programme delivery environment, with the ability to demonstrate a sound understanding of budget management on a large multimillion pound Transformation programme. Previous experience setting up and embedding finance processes and procedures and managing governance, risk and resource management processes Advanced MS Excel experience necessary. Prior experience using Power Query and VBA preferential. Professional qualification from a member of the CCAB (Chartered Certified Accountancy Bodies) for example, ACCA, CIMA, ICAEW and ICAS) Applicants must be located and eligible to work in the UK without sponsorship.
