Main Purpose of the Job: As an Operations Assistant, you\’ll be at the heart of our operations, ensuring everything runs smoothly and safely. This role is perfect for someone who loves sports, enjoys helping others, and wants to work in a dynamic and energetic setting. Key Responsibilities: Set up and dismantle equipment for sports activities and exercise classes. Ensure the safety and cleanliness of the facilities, both inside and outside. Lifeguarding of our swimming pools Supervise the aquatic environment, including observing users, identifying hazards, and performing rescues if necessary. Maintain and clean sports equipment and monitor its state of repair. Handle customer enquiries and requests efficiently. Assist with opening and closing the facilities, ensuring security. Provide emergency first aid and respond to critical incidents. Participate in staff training programs and attend relevant meetings. Adhere to company procedures and checklists. Engage with customers to ensure their safe use and enjoyment of the facilities. Qualifications and skills: RLSS National Pool Lifeguard qualification (we can help with this) Ability to work with minimal supervision within professional boundaries.
