Wentworth Institute of Technology (WIT), a recognized leader in STEM and design and management education, was founded in 1904. WIT is known for its co-operative education opportunities for students and its focus on career and resume building through hands-on learning in the field. Rooted in inclusive excellence, WIT is committed to reflecting the diversity of the City of Boston, the region, and the larger society.
WIT enrolls approximately 4,516 students in three dynamic colleges: Architecture, Design, and Construction Management; Arts and Sciences; and Engineering and Computer Science. This collaboration with the Colleges of the Fenway expands academic opportunities and enhances the student and faculty environments of the individual institutions.
ABOUT THE POSITION
The Aspen Leadership Group is proud to partner with Wentworth Institute of Technology in the search for a Senior Executive Director of Development and Alumni Relations.
Reporting to the Vice President, Institutional Advancement, the Senior Executive Director will be responsible for the oversight and management of Major Gifts, Annual Giving, and Alumni Relations, as well as the creation and integration of Leadership Annual and Planned Giving. The Senior Executive Director will serve as a close strategic partner to the Vice President, with the agency to bring vision and shape to a team of ambitious fundraisers. This inaugural position in Institutional Advancement will allow the Senior Executive Director to build the development function and play a prominent role in the conceptualization and execution of Wentworth’s first comprehensive campaign. The Senior Executive Director may work remotely with regular access to the campus. Northeast/New England preferred.
