Project Manager

A leading retailer is looking for an accomplished Project Manager to take charge of a varied and strategically important project portfolio, which includes both Technology and Operations related initiatives. The scope of work spans both technological and operational areas, with a significant lean towards digital transformation. In this role, the Project Manager will not only drive project delivery but also take the lead in shaping the organisation’s project management standards and processes. They will work closely with both internal teams and external partners/vendors to manage resource and capacity planning, ensure alignment with business goals, and support effective governance. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing complex project lifecycles from initiation through to completion. They will help develop scalable project structures and introduce practical methodologies to improve delivery consistency. Strong stakeholder engagement will be essential, with the role requiring clear communication of progress, risks, and interdependencies to leadership and teams. There will also be a strong focus on fostering collaboration across departments and ensuring that project execution is closely tied to business outcomes. Beyond delivery, this role will play a vital part in building a more mature and sustainable project environment across the organisation.
