Community Staff Nurse (South Cotswolds)

Overview

Community Staff Nurse (South Cotswolds) – Saarthy Travel Solutions. This is a permanent, full‑time role offered at 37.5 hours per week.

Job responsibilities

• To work as a member of the Community Nursing Team within an Integrated Community Team (ICT), delivering care to patients within the ICT population.
• To provide a high standard of skilled nursing care to people in their own homes or clinic settings.
• To manage the Community Nursing Team and Nursing Caseload in the absence of the Team Leader (annual leave, study leave and sickness).

Qualifications and experience

• Essential: Nursing degree or diploma; willingness to undertake further training; NMC registered.
• Desirable: Evidence of continued learning; experience of working without direct supervision; experience with students or learners in practice; previous experience of Community Nursing; evidence of post‑registration training; teaching and assessing qualification.

Induction and development

We provide a multi‑professional preceptorship programme aligned to the National Preceptorship Framework for Nursing, and an induction program with support from the practice development team to help you acquire and maintain competencies. Eligible staff may have access to qualification pathways (e.g., level 7 module Preceptorship for Healthcare).

Additional information

• UK driving licence with own transport for business purposes is essential. Lease Car Scheme and Salary Sacrifice Car Scheme may be available.
• The role requires completing statutory and mandatory training and the ability to undertake physical interventions, with fitness for intervention assessed by Occupational Health.
• Salary: £31,049 to £37,796 per annum. Location: Cirencester area (Cotswold ICT – Cirencester Hospital and surrounding sites).
