This role sits within our Data & AI practice, which includes data strategists, data scientists, engineers and analysts that work alongside DEPT teams around the world across different services – from commerce, to full-funnel media, content engineering to internal operations.

JOB PURPOSE

As a CRO Consultant, you’ll make data-driven decisions, and you know how to clearly visualise user needs and report them to our clients. You know how to use heat maps, user recordings and polls to generate insights and translate them to hypotheses. You define experiments into a roadmap, conduct those and present back the results. You’ll let our designers and developers know what has to be done if you need their support in experiment delivery. By presenting complex answers in a clear fashion, you’re able to convince your clients into what optimisations to prioritise. In this way you actively support the data driven development and increasing conversion of the platforms we deliver to our clients.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Helping clients define how to measure their digital success (KPIs / Conversion), aligned with their business objectives;
  • Analysing data through (Google) analytics or user feedback (hotjar/contentsquare) reviews, turning data into insights;
  • Benchmarking user journeys against best practices through Heuristic walkthroughs;
  • Conducting deep dive analysis to support backlog prioritisation for our clients digital platforms (site/shop/app);
  • Responsible for creating test plans, executing A/B tests and evaluation;
  • Join in (or lead) client workshops;
  • Producing and delivering reports/audits that summarise your findings;
  • Contributing to conversion programmes driving continuous improvements through iterative learning.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

  • Have relevant working experience as an optimisation consultant preferably within the digital marketing field;
  • Know your way around Google Analytics, Hotjar and/or content square and tools like VWO or Optimizely;
  • Have experience at a digital agency (bonus points).

WE OFFER:

  • A flexible, hybrid working policy (2 days from the office, depending on location).
  • An excellent salary based on experience and equal pay policies.
  • Pension, free private healthcare, mental health support, and company sick pay scheme.
  • Help getting you to work with a season ticket loan and cycle to work scheme.
  • Enhanced family friendly policies to support new parents.
  • Social and Cultural Events, plenty of opportunities to connect with colleagues through organised activities and celebrations.
  • Inspirational Talks, bringing the outside in with regular guest speakers and events.
  • Learning and Development, supporting your growth with continuous opportunities to learn and advance.
  • Buddy Programme: You will be paired with a ‘Buddy’ to help you through your first weeks’ at DEPT.
  • A reputation for doing good. DEPT has been a Certified B Corp since 2021 and named ‘Agency of the Year’ at both The Lovies and The Webby Awards.
  • Awesome clients. Whether big or small, local or global — at DEPT you’ll get the opportunity to work with clients of all sizes and across all industries. And we celebrate all of our successes together!
  • The opportunity for possibility. We want to enable you to do what you do best and help you develop your skills further with training, development and certifications.
  • Global annual DEPT Cares Month in which employees come together and donate their skills to support local charities.
