Programme Director – £800/£900 per day (outside IR35) Are you a proven Programme Director with a flair for delivering large-scale, high-impact initiatives? We are seeking an exceptional leader to spearhead a transformative 3-year programme for a global powerhouse in the automotive and technology space. This is your opportunity to take charge of a £10m annual budget , driving the delivery of a cutting-edge technology solution and a pan-European business setup that will redefine an entire industry. This initial 12-month contract (which is highly likely to extend) offers the chance to play a pivotal role in a programme of unmatched scale, complexity, and importance is paying between £800 – £900 per day and falls outside of IR35. The Programme Director Role: As the Programme Director , you’ll be the strategic leader sitting at the helm of this multi-dimensional programme, reporting directly to senior executives and working alongside key stakeholders. You’ll have full accountability for ensuring the seamless delivery of a transformative solution that combines cutting-edge technology and a robust business framework. Your key responsibilities include: Driving the tech plan: Oversee the design, build, and delivery of a complex, custom-built technology solution, ensuring it is fully resourced, strategically planned, and delivered to world-class standards. Budget management: Take ownership of the £10m annual budget , balancing cost control with high-impact delivery. Pan-European business setup: Lead the design and implementation of a new service and business setup across multiple markets, ensuring alignment with business goals and market needs. Customer onboarding & rollout: Define and execute the strategy for seamless onboarding and multi-market rollout, ensuring an exceptional customer journey and operational readiness. Stakeholder alignment: Act as the programme’s senior figurehead, maintaining close collaboration with senior executives, ensuring stakeholder buy-in, and driving clear, effective communication across all workstreams. About You This is a role for an experienced leader with a proven track record of delivering large-scale, complex programmes . You will bring: Significant Programme Leadership Experience: Demonstrated success in leading £10m+ multi-year programmes across multiple workstreams. Tech Solution Delivery Expertise: Deep understanding of delivering custom-built, complex technology solutions, from planning to execution. Pan-European Transformation Experience: Previous success in leading business or service transformations across multiple geographies, with a focus on operational setup and market alignment. Exceptional Leadership & Influence: Outstanding communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage and influence at C-suite and board level. Strategic Problem-Solving: A solution-oriented mindset with the ability to navigate challenges, manage risks, and maintain focus on strategic goals. Commercial Acumen: Strong financial management skills to oversee and drive budgetary efficiency.
