Are you an experienced Residential Conveyancer looking for a new opportunity? Our reputable client in Bedford is seeking a skilled and dedicated individual to join their residential property team.
As a Residential Conveyancer, you will play a crucial role in guiding clients through the property buying and selling process, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience. You will be responsible for managing a caseload of residential property transactions, from initial instruction through to completion. Your strong knowledge of property law, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills will be key in providing exceptional service to clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing a caseload of residential property transactions, including freehold and leasehold transactions, remortgages, transfers of equity, and more
- Conducting legal research and providing accurate advice to clients
- Liaising with clients, estate agents, and other professionals to progress transactions effectively
- Drafting and reviewing legal documents, including contracts and transfer deeds
- Handling any complex issues or disputes that may arise during the conveyancing process
- Keeping up-to-date with changes in property law and regulatory requirements
Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum three years previous experience working as a Residential Conveyancer, handling a high volume of transactions
- Strong knowledge of property law and conveyancing processes
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Attention to detail and the ability to prioritise workload
- Possession of relevant legal qualifications (such as Solicitor, CILEx or CLC) is essential
