Join our Tax team as a Compliance Specialist, overseeing all tax compliance matters.
Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 depending on experience
Hybrid working pattern: 2-3 days per week in the office.
Security Clearance: British Citizen or a Dual UK national with British citizenship. Restrictions and/or limitations relating to nationality and/or rights to work may apply. Successful candidates will need to undergo HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard checks (BPSS), managed by the MBDA Personnel Security Team.

The opportunity: MBDA seeks a UK Tax Compliance Specialist to assist with UK tax compliance.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Preparation of research & development expenditure credit claims, UK corporation tax computations, PAYE reporting returns (including PSA, P11D(b), share scheme return), and SAO report
- Supporting Central Finance with monthly tax reporting for statutory accounts and auditors' queries
- Providing technical advice for VAT return preparation
- Supporting ad hoc tax compliance projects
What we’re looking for:
- Qualified tax specialist (CTA or ATT) with experience in corporate taxes and tax reporting
- Ability to handle all aspects of UK tax compliance
- Good accountancy knowledge (advantageous)
- Strong technical skills applicable commercially, from practice or industry
