DHL, an award-winning leading supply chain business is seeking a Supply Planner to play a vital role coordinating our daily procurement and inventory requirements.
WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?
As part of your normal duties, whilst maintaining excellent health and safety practices, you will:
- Accurately replenish stock using target stock holding criteria within the Replenishment System
- Place purchase orders on external vendors to maintain target stock cover to meet customers service levels and individual stock turn targets
- Manage inventory and demonstrate cost efficiencies through minimising operational impact cost due to stock shortfalls and excess stocks
- Communicate proactively through reporting on supplier issues via the process required
