IT Team Manager Sandwich - 2 days on site per month
Salary to £60,000 (some flex if required) plus on call and ad-hoc overtime

Sanderson Government and Defence have partnered with an ambitious IT and Cyber Security MSP/Consultancy who are on the look out for a capable IT leader to head up their platform engineering team (currently consisting of 4 engineers with room to expand). They are very flexible, so you only need to come on to site in East Kent 2 times per month, with occasional travel to other sites.
Requirements for this role are as follows:
- External customer facing experience, i.e MSP rather than enterprise
- Experience of leading a team through a transformation
- Experience managing hybrid/remote workers
- A good technical baseline in windows infrastructure
- Strong incident management skills with the ability to communicate appropriately with both internal leadership and customers
- Eligibility to hold SC clearance
It would be ideal if you had some of the following:
- Understanding/experience with Nutanix or Veem
- VMWare experience
- Experience up-skilling engineers
This will involve a two stage interview process, in addition to a call with Patrick at Sanderson within 48 hours of applying should your profile fit the requirements.
