Summary: This position is to support the Government Lead by administering JPM CBRN Pās Information Technology resources that includes installation and maintenance of networking assets, configuration, diagnoses, troubleshooting, telephone communications, customer assistance, and/or training as requested, and provide deliverables when requested. Work is located at Stafford, VA. On-site.
Job Description:
- Plan and deliver customer support services at the point of computer user/specialist interface, including installation and maintenance of networking assets, configuration, troubleshooting, customer assistance, and/or training.
- Diagnose and resolve problems in response to customer-reported incidents.
- Research, evaluate, and provide feedback on problematic trends and patterns.
- Develop and maintain problem tracking and resolution databases.
- Write instructions for new procedures and special projects.
- Provide face-to-face and telephone customer training.
- Rigorously apply information security/information assurance policies, principles, and practices.
- Manage the procurement of any information technology related equipment required for customer support.
- Provide support for and troubleshooting of the Secret Internet Protocol Router Network (SIPRNet) laptop and Secure Video Teleconference (SVTC).
- Provide staff level training for Non-Secure Internet Protocol Router Network (NIPR) systems, SIPR systems, VOIP phones, Mobile devices, and O365 Teams meetings.
- Act as the JPM CBRN P point of contact with various support providers (e.g., Marine Corps Systems Command (MCSC) Service Desk, Enterprise Service Desk (ESD), Quantico G-6, Army Enterprise Service Managed Platform (AESMP), Dell, Hewlett Packard (HP), Konica, etc.).
- Act as the JPM CBRN Protection Assistant SharePoint Administrator - creating and managing user access, monitoring site performance, troubleshooting basic issues, assisting with site creation, managing content libraries, enforcing security policies, and providing user training on SharePoint features, all under the guidance of the primary administrator.
- Attend meetings or discussions either in person, via telecon, or using MS Teams if on-site gatherings and/or travel are restricted.
Qualifications:
- CompTIA Security + at no cost to the Government.
- Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification within six (6) months of start of work, at no cost to the Government.
- (4) years of experience with SharePoint.
- (4) years of information technology experience supporting a DoD agency.
- (2) years of experience with Microsoft Office (i.e., Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word).
- Defense Acquisition University (DAU) Practitioner certification, or the civilian equivalency in Information Technology is desired.
