As our Mobile Telemetry Engineer, you'll play a key role in ensuring our telemetry systems are running seamlessly, delivering top-tier service to our customers and internal teams alike. Your expertise will keep Speedy's assets operating at their best while supporting innovation across the business.
What You'll Do:
- Install, maintain, and manage telemetry systems across Speedy's fleet of equipment.
- Provide high-quality service and support within the Northern territories.
- Act as the link between engineering teams and all business functions that utilize telemetry systems.
- Conduct ongoing quality control and performance checks on telemetry devices.
- Create and maintain a comprehensive Telemetry Installation Guide.
- Develop and deliver training materials and sessions for engineers, empowering them to master telemetry technology.
- Collaborate across departments to ensure optimal system availability and functionality.
- Build and maintain key relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Contribute to the creation of Standard Operating Procedures to streamline processes.
Minimum Requirements:
- Full driving licence.
- Previous experience working with single and three-phase AC electrics, ideally gained within the hire industry or similar engineering field (Preferred).
- 12vdc and 24vdc electrics fault finding and ability to read wiring diagrams.
- An understanding of basic engine communication systems (CAN bus and MOD bus).
- Proficient computer skills, use of telemetry platforms.
- Ability to write technical reports.
- Able to work under pressure and as part of a team.
- Willingness to travel and occasionally stay overnight when required.
- Ability to support your business unit/team to deliver our ESG Strategy - Decade to Deliver.
