Mobile Telemetry Engineer

As our Mobile Telemetry Engineer, you'll play a key role in ensuring our telemetry systems are running seamlessly, delivering top-tier service to our customers and internal teams alike. Your expertise will keep Speedy's assets operating at their best while supporting innovation across the business.

What You'll Do:

• Install, maintain, and manage telemetry systems across Speedy's fleet of equipment.
• Provide high-quality service and support within the Northern territories.
• Act as the link between engineering teams and all business functions that utilize telemetry systems.
• Conduct ongoing quality control and performance checks on telemetry devices.
• Create and maintain a comprehensive Telemetry Installation Guide.
• Develop and deliver training materials and sessions for engineers, empowering them to master telemetry technology.
• Collaborate across departments to ensure optimal system availability and functionality.
• Build and maintain key relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Contribute to the creation of Standard Operating Procedures to streamline processes.

Minimum Requirements:

• Full driving licence.
• Previous experience working with single and three-phase AC electrics, ideally gained within the hire industry or similar engineering field (Preferred).
• 12vdc and 24vdc electrics fault finding and ability to read wiring diagrams.
• An understanding of basic engine communication systems (CAN bus and MOD bus).
• Proficient computer skills, use of telemetry platforms.
• Ability to write technical reports.
• Able to work under pressure and as part of a team.
• Willingness to travel and occasionally stay overnight when required.
• Ability to support your business unit/team to deliver our ESG Strategy - Decade to Deliver.
