Semi Senior Accountant

A cloud and tech focused accountancy firm based in Blackburn, Lancashire are recruiting for a Semi Senior Accountant to join their vibrant office on a full-time permanent basis. This is a varied accounts, tax, and bookkeeping position within a modern firm who are well established in the mid west. They are offering an excellent ACCA study support package and guidance to budding Accountants with 3-4 years experience in practice so far.

Semi/Senior Accountant Job Overview

• Preparing Limited company accounts
• Training clients in the use of cloud accounting software in-house and at client\’s premises
• Corporation tax preparation
• Outsourcing tasks, including bookkeeping
• Preparation, review and submission of VAT returns
• Key part of the accounts team – This includes bookkeeping, VAT returns, payroll, management accounts, year end accounts and tax returns, as well as ad-hoc advice.

Semi/Senior Accountant Job Requirements

• 3 years experience working in a UK accounting firm
• Experience in preparing year end accounts
• Excellent cloud based knowledge with Xero
• Either AAT qualified and studying towards ACCA qualified PQ, studying, or working towards AAT – study support available
• Excellent communication
• Keen to accelerate your career with a structured growth & study plan
• Based locally to Bury, Manchester

Semi/Senior Accountant Salary & Benefits

• £27,000 – £37,000 per annum dependant on experience
• Study support for ACCA
• Hybrid working after probation
• On-site parking
• 23 days holiday plus bank holidays
