Software Engineer - Back End

Excellent company looking to add a Software Engineer – Back End to their team! Job Description: This is an opportunity to work on enhancing automation of Back Office, Clearing Accounting and Risk Management systems. As a software engineer, you will participate in all phases of a multi-tier software development cycle (GUIs, databases, mid-tier, batch applications, reporting) with an emphasis on the server-side. You will debug, fix, and maintain existing systems. Qualifications: Problem solver Attention to details Fast learner Self-motivated and directed Bachelors, MS or PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or Physical Sciences from a US University 4-10 years of Java and/or C++ experience Strong knowledge of object-oriented concepts & multi-tier applications Strong understanding of DBMS concepts (Oracle platform is a plus) Hands-on expertise in server-side programming in Java/C++ J2EE experience Knowledge of financial instruments is a plus Additional Information 85-90% development all day long Looking for self-starters – will be given a project and must be able to deliver Work environment is quiet ***Relocation Assistance Offered ***Salary DOE ***Bonus offered ***Free lunch #J-18808-Ljbffr
